If you haven't visited us at DFW Elite Toy Museum then you truly are missing out on one unique collection. We love collecting antique and rare toy cars and leave hearing about the stories behind them. Here you will see our press releases about news and updates we have going on at the museum. Any time we are looking for antique toy cars to add to our collection or need help identifying an antique car toy then we will post it here so you don't miss out on any of the action.

We still have some rare toys and collectibles that we still need help identifying so we will keep you posted on which specific toys need a second look. The majority of the toys in our collection are in some way connected to automobiles because the owner and collector is a die hard car fan and has been in the automotive industry for over 30 years. The owner, Ron Sturgeon, doesn't only collect antique toy race cars however; one of the new exhibits features a collection of large and detailed toy boat models that is quite the sight to see.

We have more than 3,000 pieces in our collection including some antique Tippco toys

To give you an idea of just how large and extensive our toy collection is our total number exceeds 3,000. Any collector of toys knows that Tippco toys are rare and very valuable if kept in good condition and we have plenty of Tippco collectibles for you to enjoy. The curator, Rodney Ross, is always updating the collection with new information and new items that are sometimes donated. We have a passion for our toys and cars and the visitors that come to see the collection can't believe all of the stuff that they end up getting to see.

Admission to the toy museum is free and we are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. We gladly welcome anyone who wants to take a look at our collection. We understand that most museums charge some sort of admission but we simply want our visitors to enjoy and appreciate our collection.
